This policy explains what we collect when you use xFuga, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. For any question about your data, or to exercise a right described below, write to privacy@xfuga.com.
What we collect
Automatically, on every visit: your IP address, browser user-agent, the pages you request and the time of the request. These are recorded in standard server logs.
In your browser: a randomly generated visitor identifier, plus your likes, saved posts, followed creators, theme preference and viewing history. These are stored locally in your browser and are used to make the site work — your history page is rendered from them. Clearing your browser storage erases them.
If you contact us: your email address and whatever you put in the message.
Why we collect it
To serve the site and keep it working; to count views and likes; to remember your preferences between visits; to detect and prevent abuse; and to comply with legal obligations including responding to takedown and removal requests.
Cookies and local storage
We use browser local storage for the preferences and history described above. Where analytics are enabled, the analytics provider may set its own cookies — see below. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles.
Third parties
Content delivery and security are handled by a third-party network, which processes request metadata such as IP address in order to serve traffic and mitigate attacks.
Where analytics are enabled, an analytics provider receives page-view data and may set its own cookies.
Retention
Server logs are kept only as long as they are needed to run the service securely and to investigate abuse, and are then deleted. Data held in your browser persists until you clear it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these, write to privacy@xfuga.com.
Removal of material depicting you: if you appear in any material on this site and want it taken down, write to abuse@xfuga.com with the URL. You do not need to hold copyright in it, and you do not need to explain why.
Children
This site is for adults. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page.
